About This Project

A Master Bedroom and Garage addition to a archetypical suburban ëranchí style home outside of Seattle. A morphology based on natural light and the manipulation of existing patterns, materials and spatial types.

After initial identification and analysis of normative systems in place (non-specific), a pattern was established for addition. The form is distorted within this pattern in order to capture light and frame a specific view beyond the limits of the site.
