Design development for a self-sustaining integrating hydroponic, aquaponic, and green roof growing systems with sustainable energy systems to maximize plant productivity in extreme climates. The EGH model has been tested in designs for three different climate locations: Los Angeles, Iceland, and the Valles Marineris on Mars.
